Adele Sauros is one of the most active jazz musicians and composers in Finland and Europe today. The Adele Sauros Quartet, which combines Nordic and American jazz styles, was formed in 2012 and released its fourth album Your Special Loss in March 2024. Sauros' melodic and serious compositions draw inspiration from the jazz tradition. The members are virtuosic jazz musicians who dare to break away from the usual patterns and improvise spontaneously.
The Flame Jazz Summer Live concert series consists of current names in the Finnish jazz scene and talented ensembles. The concerts are free of charge and are held every Wednesday from 8 May to 14 August 2024 in a cosy park atmosphere in Turku's Cathedral Park Terrace.
