Founded in 2016, Tuomas Paukku Scription interprets the atmospheric music of its leader, guitarist Tuomas Paukku, with an irresistible passion. The ensemble bases its style on modern jazz impressionism and post-bop, but also finds new nuances and viewpoints to its music outside of jazz. Scription's self-titled debut album was released in May 2018, and it was also noticed by Spotify's State of Jazz playlist. Currently Paukku is finalizing new material, that band is preparing to record. The new album will be released in autumn 2021.
Tuomas Paukku – guitar, Artturi Rönkä – piano, Janne Tuovinen – bass, Tomi Saikkonen – drums

Jussi Fredriksson Trio has polished their uniquely strong interplay by playing live regularly since 2014. The trio has released three albums, and summer 2021 sees the newest album, Archipelago Sea Tales, come out. Under the pandemic, pianist Fredriksson has written the band a completely new repertoire, which draws inspiration from the current themes in the Finnish archipelago; the color palette is rich, and the imagery varies from romantic seaside idylls to the eco-catastrophe at the Baltic Sea. The trio is famous for their captivating stage presence, and the ability to tell affectionate musical stories.

The roots of MA Rouf’s music are in the Middle Eastern sufi tradition combined with Scandinavian jazz influences. Many of MA Rouf’s songs talk about change, and the emotions of an undefined future such as hope and fear. These emotions are addressed by mixing the styles of the Kurdish musical tradition with Afro-centric and Scandinavian polyphony, counterpoint and improvisation. The band’s debut album The People was released in the spring 2019.
