UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra´s big band transforms to smaller ensembles that bring live music to people who would otherwise not be able to enjoy it. Institutional visits take UMO Helsinki to old people’s homes, hospitals and service housing for the elderly. Now you get a chance to experience UMO Helsinki´s saxophone quintet and brass ensemble.

Brass ensemble will perform at 12.00–12.45 and saxophone quintet at 14.00–14.30.

KAMA Kollektiv is the quartet around young Finnish singer and trumpet player Kirsi-Marja “Kiki” Harju. The band is based in Amsterdam, but Kiki’s songs are full of memories of the beautiful landscapes, dark forests and the icy frost of her homeland, Finland. In August 2019, it's finally time for the band to go to play in Finland together, as part of their album-release tour. Wednesday August 28th they'll perform in Kuopio.
