Jazz Finland Live

The 22nd Kalkkiranta Jazz Festival features top names of Finnish jazz: Panu Savolainen Toivo feat. Ninni Poijärvi, Verneri Pohjola Quartet and Anna-Mari Kähärä Orchestra. The festival is set in the area of the Nordkalk factory, Kalkkiranta, Sipoo.

Honouring the 100th anniversary Toivo Kärki, Panu Savolainen Toivo plys the master composer’s works in fresh jazz arrangements with the eponymous vibraphonist in the lead. The group released their album, Music by Toivo Kärki, in March to great acclaim and they will be seen at Kalkkiranta with the violinist-vocalist Ninni Poijärvi.
