Kokko Quartet feat. Ricardo Padilla
Active since 2010, the Helsinki-based Kokko Quartet mixes together ingredients from different musical traditions around the globe. Elements borrowed from Cuban, Indian and Arabian music add some colour to their essentially Scandinavian species of jazz.

Johannes Sarjasto Quartet
Johannes Sarjasto Quartet came into being when the eponymous saxophone player assembled some his favourite artists to interpret his compositions. With both Afro-American and European jazz traditions as their sources of inspiration, the quartet’s ambitious music has already won them, for instance, the audience award in the Young Nordic Jazz Comets 2014 competition.
