Grotto is a unique ensemble founded in 2022, where the unusual combination of bass clarinet, saxophone, organ and drums offers the listener a fresh and mysterious composition. Through the works of drummer-composer Joonas Leppänen, the band explores the concept of "organ trio" without prejudice, creating an introspective Nordic atmosphere. In addition to jazz, influences from classical music and reggae can also be heard.
