Jazz Finland Live

Atonal Drums is a solo project by renowned drummer-producer Teppo Mäkynen, where both acoustic and electronic drum sounds are immersed in a sample and synth-based landscape. At the intersection of intriguing experimental jazz, tonal and atonal, composed and improvised music meet. In a live ensemble that has grown into a duo, Mäkynen is joined by talented keyboardist-producer Nikita Rafaelov. The broad scale of diverse influences are tied together by a strong, jazzy approach of two friends.
