Street Level is Jukka Gustavson's group founded in 2017. The group has released the album Natural High in 2021. The music is based on Jukka's compositions and some old favourites from the 70's re-arranged.

The concert at Louhisali will feature the legendary guitarist Ben Granfelt as a special guest!

UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra opens the doors of its rehearsal space for the audience! At UMO Helsinki’s open rehearsals you will witness how the program gets crystallised and the orchestra’s sound unified. As the rehearsals are kept as authentic as possible, certain parts and passages may be honed a number of times. The conductor will also be present at the rehearsals, directing the orchestra toward the desired sound.

At the Valentine’s Day’s open rehearsals, the repertoire for the next day’s Nocturnal Affair concert by the UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra, Timo Lassy will be completed under the direction of conductor Valtteri Laurell Pöyhönen. Info & tickets for the concert at Korjaamo on 15th February >>

Legendary pianist Seppo Kantonen returns to trio format with his new jazz trio together with Markku Ounaskari (drums) and Antti Lötjönen (drums). The new band has started rehearsing new material in 2023 and will tour Finland extensively in January-February 2024.

Kantonen has played on approx. 200 albums, and performed anything from jazz to rock and barock. He received the Yrjö award in 1985.
