Maja Mannila is an impressive young jazz/soul singer, pianist, and composer. With her band, she performs her original songs in English with a mix of R'n'B, soul, jazz, and gospel styles.
Mannila has a confident vision for her music, but at the same time possesses a free spirit and joy while playing. The band was the mouthpiece of Finnish jazz in the Nordic Jazz Comets in Spring 2022. Maja's debut album Up and Down was published in June of 2022.

Kalle Kalima is, at present, making a great career in Central Europe. Antti Lötjönen belongs to the most popular jazz musicians in Finland. Now, they are embarking on a collaborative endeavor, starting with their debut gig at SaloJazz Festival.
The concert is a "commissioned piece" that Antti has created for the festival. It is going to be an unforgettable journey to the world of improvised music through the blended talents of these two unique artists.
Kalle Kalima, currently living in Berlin, is an award-winning guitarist and composer whose bands have gained popularity around the world. Opera Lyon and NDR Big Band have performed his pieces. Kalle is also a jazz guitar professor at the University of Luzern.
