Jazz Finland Live

Guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Jarmo Saari and three drummers wake up a gigantic musical creature, that leaves nobody hungry. New programme is heard for the first time live in Tampere. The new album Soldiers of Light by Jarmo Saari Republic have been received with enthusiasm: drummers Sami Kuoppamäki, Olavi Louhivuori and Abdissa "Mamba" Assefa creates a imaginative soundscape that is combined with Jarmo Saari playing electric guitar, theremin, glass harp and viola da gamba among others. In 2019 live gigs Sami Kuoppaniemi is replaced by Mikko Kaakkuriniemi.
