Jazz Finland Live

Jazz Jkl Live concert series and Fridays Jazz Club combines their strenghts at Good Friday. Jazz Jkl Collective performs with vocalist Heidi Ilves and  after that audience is treated by a new Superposition! -band lead by drummer Olavi Louhivuori.

Jazz Jkl Collective is featured by vocalist and composer Heidi Ilves, who is originally from Jyväskylä, but now lives in Helsinki. The band performs Wayne Shorter compositions, with lyrics written and sung by Ilves.

Olavi Louhivuori Superposition! at 19.30

Olavi Louhivuori Superposition! is a freshly gathered jazz quartet, inspired by free jazz and improvisation, and such classics as Ornette Coleman and Tomasz Stanko. Adventurous quartet consists of a group of the most talented Finnish young musicians.
