Jump'n Blues Society is a Lahti-based nine-piece, formed in May 2013. The group plays rhythm'n blues for dancers and friends of the genre. Despite being a relatively newly-formed orchestra, all its members are experienced musicians, either current or past members of the Lahti Big Band. The group takes ther cue from several key artists from the 1940s and the 1950s, such as Wynonie Harris, Roy Brown, Amos Milburn, Louis Jordan, Bullmoose Jackson, Jay McShann and Lucky Millinder.  They can be considered a welcome addition to the music life of Lahti area.
