At the Linnajazz Club on March 19: Adele Sauros Quartet. This time, the club will be held at the Wanha Kutomo, Wetterhoff (Palokunnankatu 9).

ADELE SAUROS (b. 1990) is a successful and award-winning Finnish saxophonist, composer, and bandleader. Sauros’s reflective and melodic music combines Nordic lyricism with the energy and edge of American jazz. She regularly performs in a leading role with well-known jazz ensembles and projects across Europe. She has received numerous awards and recently won the Emma Award for Best Jazz Album of 2021 with her band Superposition. In recent years, she has performed extensively across Europe at many major jazz festivals and clubs. ADELE SAUROS has been working with the Adele Sauros Quartet since 2012 and has released several albums with the group. The quartet consists of: Adele Sauros (tenor and soprano saxophones, composition); Toomas Keski-Säntti (piano); Joonas Tuuri (bass); and Joonas Leppänen (drums).

The concert is open to all ages. There will be an intermission during which Café Hoffi will serve customers.

The concert is supported by the Music Promotion Foundation Finland and the City of Hämeenlinna.
