Tuomas Ruokonen Quartet is a band built around the music of drummer-composer Tuomas Ruokonen, formed in the spring of 2017.

In the band's music, Nordic jazz merges with an ethereal post-rock sound. The quartet's expression incorporates improvisation, deepening the stories hidden in the melodies of the songs, which originate from real-life observations.

The band's debut EP RuOK? was released in early 2023. In connection with the release, the band performed in Rotterdam and Amsterdam in February, as well as at the Helsinki Musiikkitalo in the summer. The quartet's concerts are artistic entities where interpretations of songs interact with the band, the audience, and the space.

In addition to Ruokonen, the band includes guitarist Ville-Veikko Airaniemi, bassist Oskari Siirtola, and pianist Toomas Keski-Säntti.
