Jukkis Uotila has arranged a set based on personal memories, featuring gems of Finnish jazz from the 1970s to the present day. The program includes compositions by Esko Linnavalli, Eero Koivistoinen, Olli Ahvenlahti, Severi Pyysalo, Jarmo Savolainen, and several other composers.

Drummer, pianist, composer, and the first-ever Nordic jazz music professor, Jukkis Uotila, is a regular performer at Koko Jazz Club, and his concerts will continue in the fall. Throughout his extensive international career, he has released nine albums under his own name and has performed with legendary figures such as harmonica player-guitarist Toots Thielemans and trumpeter Randy Brecker.

Jukkis plays the drums and has assembled a magnificent group around him.
