Johanna Försti, the Queen of Soul, is a soulful and incredibly versatile singer who serves up a bundle of vibrant and energetic songs by Lenny Kravitz, Abba, and U2. Known from Dancing with the Stars, Försti leads listeners into the world of soul and gospel with her dream band, bringing the joy of rhythm and the hum of the Hammond organ to the early autumn evening in Kerava.

"Soul and gospel music has always interested me. In this concert, I get to handle pop hits to my heart's content, mix in some old-school gospel, and perform them with the amazing trio," says Johanna Försti.

Johanna Försti will be performing at the Kerava Jazz Festival for the third time. The first performance took place back in 2004 as the lead vocalist of the band Sentimeters. The second performance in 2011 with her alter ego, Jo Stance, is likely better remembered by the people of Kerava.
