Pianist Mikael Jakobsson specializes in the mainstream of the 1950s and 1960s. His extensive pedagogical work has made a significant contribution to the spread of traditionally aware piano expression among young musicians. Jakobsson's trio repertoire consists of his own compositions and re-arranged jazz standards.
