Jazz Finland Live

Aki Rissanen Trio, led by the eponymous pianist, issues their sophomore album on the celebrated British record label Editio Records on 10 November. Entitled Another North, the disc will be an ambitious and rhytmically intensive continuation to the award-winning debut, Amorandom. After touring Japan, London and Germany, the trio will be celebrating their sophomore on Finnish soil, at Espoo, Helsinki and Tampere. 

Aki Rissanen is a familiar face from such top-notch groups as Verneri Pohjola Quartet, Mikko Hassinen Elektro GT and Lauri Porra Flyover. To date, he has released nine albums on different labels in USA, France, Britain, Sweden and Finland.
