Jazz Finland Live

Mirja Mäkelä Trio launches their new album "Nautin salaa – My Hidden Joys" at Koko Jazz Club. The album is composed of original pieces -- some of which for Finnish poems -- and a few loan songs.

Mirja Mäkelä is a Finnish jazz vocalist who has been active as a leader of her own groups for twenty years already. Mirja Mäkelä Trio, formed by Mäkelä, guitarist Teemu Viinikainen and bassist Juho Kivivuori, was started in 2006 and released their acclaimed album Runoisa two years later.
