Three Olavis of three generations create a dynamic triangle of improvisation and anarchy. Since the fourth Olavi, legendary Finnish singer, late Olavi Virta, can’t share the stage with the trio on Olavi’s name day, they have invited saxophonist-flautist Junnu Aaltonen to celebrate with them.

The collective plays the insightful film score that Hille composed for Saara Cantell’s upcoming movie “Ainoat Oikeat (The Only Ones)”. The sextet is influenced by Miles Davis’ 60s quintet, the ECM artists of the 70s, Keith Jarrett’s European quartet and Pat Metheny’s “80/81” album.
