Lithuanian saxophonist Kestutis Vaiginis and Finnish pianist Joonas Haavisto count among the top jazz musicians of their countries, and have been performing as a duo since 2006. The duo's debut album Moon Bridge will be released worldwide by Japanese label Eight Island in spring 2024. With Nordic and Baltic influences at its core, the music combines crystal clear melodies with melancholic harmonies and bubbly rhythms.

The Flame Jazz Summer Live concert series consists of current names in the Finnish jazz scene and talented ensembles. The concerts are free of charge and are held every Wednesday from 8 May to 14 August 2024 in a cosy park atmosphere in Turku's Cathedral Park Terrace.
