Known for his career as a blues musician, Henry Ojutkangas also has a long history as a jazz singer in bands like HOT CLUB TRIO or Oulu based SWING GANG. By combining these experiences with new songs, an interesting blend of swing and blues that honors the traditions and grooves has emerged.
The lineup features top musicians from Oulu, with Harri Sarkkinen on double bass and Juuso Kiviniemi on guitar. The repertoire includes well-known and slightly lesser-known jazz songs in both English and Finnish – expect some Frank Sinatra!
