Pauli Lyytinen: tenor saxophone, ewi, drum machine, live electronics; Andreas Stensland Løwe (NO): piano, synthesizers, live electronics, Julian Sartorius (CH): drums

Rabbit Hole is a new international trio led by saxophonist Pauli Lyytinen, which combines the musical visions of three creative and brave explorers. This electro-acoustic band features Lyytinen, who operates with saxophone, Ewi and a drum machine, Norwegian Andreas Stensland Løwe, who plays effected piano and synthesizers, and Julian Sartorius, a Swiss drummer who conjures previously unheard sounds with drums. In the rabbit hole, you can find a lush sound world that combines rich compositions, complex rhythmic textures and imaginative improvisations. The band’s motto is Lewis Carroll’s well-known saying from the book Alice in Wonderland “Why, sometimes I’ve believed up to six impossible things before breakfast.”
