Timo Lassy feat. Joyce Elaine Yuille concerts at G Livelab Helsiki will be postponed due to restrictions related to covid-19. New dates will be announced as soon as possible and all ticket holders will be informed via email.

Timo Lassy ranks among the brightest jazz stars in Finland. Lassy released his critically acclaimed fifth studio album "Moves" in 2018 and the marvelous new "Big Brass" live album serves as another masterpiece from the lauded sax player. In May 2021 Lassy returns to G Livelab Helsinki taking stage with praised American jazz singer Joyce Elaine Yuille. There will be two unforgettable nights of groovy jazz and soulful singing.

The festival will start with Jukka Linkola's The Tentet concert. This year marks the 27th anniversary of the release of The Tentet. Among the original members of the album ensemble are Markku Kanerva, guitar, and Mongo Aaltonen, percussion. In addition to them, the band also includes Jaska Lukkarinen, drums, Jouni Järvelä and Manuel Dunkel, saxophone, Kasperi Sarikoski, trombone, Teemu Mattsson, trumpet, Vesa Ojaniemi, bass and Seppo Kantonen, keyboards. The ensemble that will be heard at Savoy JAZZFest has been built by the UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra. The conductor and pianist of the concert will be Jukka Linkola.

Saxophonist Joonatan Rautio will perform his new compositions with his trio. The virtuoso is accompanied by double bassist Joonas Tuuri and the drums feature Professor Jukkis Uotila.
