Tribute concert 'Softly, with Feeling' on Peggy Lee's Centennial on May 26th offers rich melodies spanning Peggy's extensive career, from Benny Goodman Orchestra's big band hits to sophisticated ballads and rhythmic film scores to Peggy's own compositions and songs that had personal significance to her.
With her magnificent voice, Shirley Sparks and the top artists of Antti Sarpila Swing Band interpret the soulful singer's diverse music, performing songs such as Fever, Johnny Guitar and Golden Earrings.
