Atmosfärg plays melodic free jazz. The present form of the group started 2016 when legendary drummer of Sielun Veljet and Krakatau Alf Forsman and trumpet player Eero Savela started their work as a duo. Savela is known of his work as a member of horn section Baabelin Torvet and his multidisciplinary artwork. Album Affe ja Eero was released by Karkia Mistika records and got good response from the community. Tapani Varis joined the group 2018. His career started as a member of famous Värttinä and has continued though various genres of music. Art First Records released their trio album called Atmosfärg. 2019 Savelas former teacher Jouko Kantola from Ylivieska joined them and their recorded still unreleased music at Pitskun Kulttuurikirkko. Kantola has done a long career as a gospel musician and also performed with Juhani Aaltonen, Tapani Rinne, Jorma Tapio and Jukka Leppilampi. Group will release their new music spring 2020.
