Saxophonist Jukka Perko's career took a jumpstart 30 years ago, when Dizzy Gillespie himself offered Perko a post in the ranks of his anniversary tour big band. Perko returns the favour in 2018, re-visiting Gillespie's craziest bebops and Afro-Cuban classics.
