Trio Urho

Trio Urho is a group founded by three students of Sibelius Academy in 2012. As the line-up does not include a harmony instrument, one of the band's main aims is to find different expressive ways to make up for this absence. Some of the group's models are Sonny Rollins's, Joshua Redman's and Elvin Jones's groups. The repertoire consists of the band members' original compositions and jazz classics that have been arranged to suit the trio's modern approach.

Ville Vannemaa - saxes
