The Hämeenlinna Musical Club (HSK) is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year. HSK is the oldest association in Finland dedicated to rhythm music and has been a driving force in Hämeenlinna's jazz scene for decades. The general public is most familiar with the association through the Linnajazz festival and the concerts of the Linnajazz Club.

Now, HSK is celebrating its milestone in grand style. The anniversary concert at the Hämeenlinna Theatre will feature not just one but two renowned big bands, both well known from Hämeenlinna's squares, parks, and concert halls: Vanaja Big Band and Hämeenlinna Big Band. Expect plenty of swing and a rich, full-bodied sound. The program includes classic pieces from HSK's past decades and the best selections from both orchestras. There will also be surprise guest performers, ensuring an unforgettable evening of rhythm music entertainment from Hämeenlinna!
