Manala Afterwork Jazz is a weekly Thursday jazz club in the heart of Helsinki.
Mark Lotz is a flutist whose performances are marked by a unique energy that draws listeners in, taking them on a journey of discovery. With a vivid imagination, Lotz often seeks out surprising and original settings, challenging expectations. Praised as "one of the world's top jazz flute players" (Los Angeles Jazz Scene Magazine, USA), Lotz shatters preconceptions about the flute in jazz. His artistry has made him a prominent member of the Dutch jazz scene for 30 years and a global solist, with projects, recordings, and teaching engagements spanning the world.
