Pianist Iiro Rantala is likely the most well-known jazz musician in our country. Now, the versatile virtuoso introduces his new international super trio!

Led by Iiro Rantala, Trio Töykeät rose to global fame in the 1990s. After the band's story ended, Rantala's illustrious career has continued with solo concerts, classical music, plays, musicals, and composing operas. Known as a humorous performer, the artist has become familiar to a wide audience as a TV, radio, and podcast host.

HEL Trio is Iiro Rantala's new band with British bassist Conor Chaplin and Norwegian drummer Anton Eger. The concert will feature modern jazz classics by Dave Grusin, Joe Zawinul, and Jaco Pastorius, as well as Rantala's own compositions.

Anna Inginmaa is one of the interesting, soulful jazz vocalists in Finland. In this concert she interprets the classic album of Nancy Wilson/Cannonball Adderley's material in its entirety with her mercilessly swinging band. Unique to this concert is that some of the album's compositions are performed with Finnish translations.
