Peela, who has performed a couple of times in Hämeenlinna and gained great popularity, is returning to Suistoklubi in March!

This six-member band, comprised of young jazz virtuosos, performs compositions by guitarist-composer Johannes Granroth. The band's unique and flexible groove draws from jazz, funk rock, and neo-soul, allowing musicians space to play and improvise. The engaging rhythmic vibe particularly shines in instrumental pieces, but Maja Mannila also vividly embellishes the overall sound with her vocals.

Peela was founded in 2016 and released its debut album 'Layers' in May 2018. Their much-anticipated second album 'Stepping Stones' came out in September 2020. During 2023, the band has released seven singles of new music.
