Maan Tila is a new quintet from Helsinki led by vibraphonist-composer Mikko Antila. The ensemble consists of the warm shared tones of trumpet and tenor saxophone combined with a light, pianoless rhythm section.

Club 20-20 unites the atmosphere of the prohibition era 1920s with its decadent elegance with the sound of 2020s. Besides jazzy swing and electro swing, expect also soul hop and trip hop beats. If you like electro swing to dance to, here is a night you don’t want to miss!
Sunday 26th of July will be a premiere gig of THE SWANG ORCHESTRA! Club 20-20 is opened by dj and style maker Fiona Timantti, with an elegant set that sets the mood, bringing you from one 20s to another. She has possibly played the very first electro swing gig in Helsinki, and, she has give the live band their visual style. Swang!
The Swang Orchestra plays tunes that will force your feet to move! More energetic tunes are closer to jazz swing. Then there are tracks that lean to trip hop, tracks that, if you close your eyes, you can imagine you are in a summer music festival listening to a band that you wanted to hear live for many years. The Swang Orchestra comprises of jazz vocalist Kadi Vija and Ville Luukkonen Trio and turntablist Joel Korhonen. The concept is produced by Tapio Mäkelä.

dj Mack The Producer is locally better known for his neon80 club, synth and disco production and dj sets. What is less known is that he has played electro swing for a long time, with major international djs and bands. You can experience his fantastic dj skills and selection after the live set on the terrace.
dj Lord Fatty is one of the multitalented djs in the Helsinki scene, whose record bag can be filled for many genres. He used to host a club with dj Borzin called Swing Ting back in the days of Steam Helsinki, so he knows the electro swing selection for the late night dance floor.
During the corona epidemic, Merikerho operates responsibly. Customers are assigned their own seats, and our club space takes in 50% of the normal capacity, ie. 100 customers. The terrace takes 300 customers. We do not accept cash as payment. Please use hand disinfectant upon entry, and stay home in case you have flu or corona symptoms.
