The concert is part of Kerava Jazz Festival
The festival is opened by guitarist Jarmo Saari and saxophonist Pauli Lyytinen, who perform together for the first time. Both of them happily cross over experimental modern jazz and progressive rock genres. The second act of the opening concert is Estonian Kadri Voorand, who has quickly rose to the line-up of many big European festivals. Voorand is an excellent singer and violinist, and in addition to jazz her music is inspired by Estonian folk music.
