Flutter is a trio founded in 2022 that performs Joonas Leppänen's music. The band's unusual line-up is quite unique, the combination of bass clarinet, saxophone, organ and drums is fresh and mysterious.

The group explores the so-called "organ trio" concept with an open mind, and in the music you can hear influences from jazz, classical, reggae... the general atmosphere of the music could be described with the words: "Nordic introspective, but at the same time with a twinkle in one’s eye".

The band recorded their first album in early 2022 during a snow storm.

From the north of Kallio to the warm and dusky late summer of the south, the Right Stuff of musicians arrives: when this graceful skill is combined with catchy tunes, fresh and cinematic Nordic jazz is born. The musical experience is completed by the enchanting voice of Jennie Storbacka, balancing the jazz trapeze.

Puutarhajazz starts in the last week of June and continues until the end of August. The house band guitarist Martin Söderbacka and double bassist Eevalotta Matikainen perform shows together with guest musicians and offer swinging music and a cheerful, captivating atmosphere.
