Singer Riikka Keränen brings atmospheric and touching modern jazz to the Jazzpatio with her own compositions as well as carefully selected standards. The lyrics lingering in the deep waters and the whirls of jazz improvisation take the listener on a journey into a world of strong song interpretation.
Originally hailing from Oulu, Keränen has been involved in many things musically, and heard in the 2019 Emma and 2020 Teosto award nominee group, Signe. She shares the Jazzpatio stage with a piano trio.
