Monthly Guitar Sessions return to Restaurant Villa Rana on 25 August and will continue on the last Tuesday of each month throughout the autumn. Featuring free admission, the evenings are hosted by Jyväskylä-based guitarist Tuomas Paukku. The program spans a wide musical spectrum, from jazz standards and classical miniatures to guitar interpretations of popular songs, as well as Paukku's own compositions, improvisations and musical experiments. Restaurant Villa Rana will operate normally during the performances.

One of Finland's most active jazz guitarists, Paukku is known for his versatility as a performer, composer and bandleader. His current projects include the contemporary jazz quartet Tuomas Paukku Scription and the cross-generational Jazz Jkl Collective. His music has been released on four albums, most recently the solo guitar recording Peaces (2025).
