The evening will be filled with Dixieland and swing music that invites you to the dance floor and takes you to the golden eras of jazz. The dazzling Annette Sinclair takes the stage as the vocal soloist, while conductor Ville Vannemaa sets the perfect dance atmosphere. Expect glamour, groove, and unforgettable music. It’s time to swing it!

Although dancing is the main star of the evening, you can also join the event and just enjoy the music and the ballroom atmosphere without dancing.

Annette Sinclair is a long-time vocal soloist from Oulu, who is deeply rooted in the jazz tradition. Having been drawn to American rhythm music from an early age, she feels right at home amidst the blue notes of jazz. Making her debut as a soloist with the Oulu All Star Big Band, Sinclair is a familiar face in Oulu’s music scene, both as a guest soloist and a backing vocalist in various jazz ensembles, including the vocal group Twisters.

Ville Vannemaa is one the most sought-after jazz musicians in Finland. He has conducted renowned ensembles such as UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra, Espoo Big Band, Turku Jazz Orchestra, and Oulu All Star Big Band. A talented saxophonist and multi-woodwind player, Vannemaa performs with Finland’s top ensembles, from UMO to Popeda, as well as in various city theatres and jazz small groups.
