The band’s music is ground, strongly spiritual, melodic freejazz which has influences from western classical music and folkmusic. The trio’s music differs vastly from modern jazz mainstream having stronger expression, more physical touch coming from the freejazz tradition and so called primitive music. In a way the band continues the finnish freejazz tradition layed out by the late great Edward Vesala and Juhani Aaltonen. The band plays mostly their own compositions and also some from Edward Vesala and Oskar Merikanto. All the musicians of the band are absolute top musicians in their genre.
