Jazz Finland Live

Drummer / composer Ilari Kinnunen has gathered a group of skillful jazz musicians to perform his own compositions. The repertoire consists of tunes for the whole band, as well as tone poems and solo works for drum set. Versatile expression, improvisation, strong grooving and soulful moments will be heard in this concert!

Each member of the band has separately worked extensively in the Finnish music scene, as well as played together before in the band Beyond Quartet. This time they combine their strengths to create new music, as well as play a couple of jazz standards, arranged for this very concert!

The summer Jumpru x OMJ Jazzpatio will take place 13.6.–17.8.2023 and is organized in cooperation with the Oulu Music Festival, Jumpru Pub and the Finnish Music Promotion Foundation. During summer 2023, there will be a total of 10 concerts at the Jazzpatio.
