Jazz Finland Live

Jazz weekend in Puotilan Kartano 12.-14.4. combines acoustic jazz music and tasty food. Weekend starts 12.4. with Jazz & Dine, that is hosted by Verneri Pohjola (trumpet), Mikko Helevä (hammond) and Tomi Salesvuo (drums). Programme consists of freshly arranged acoustic jazz favourites and original pieces by the trio.

Concert is held in festival hall in Puotilan Kartano. Place limit is 55 people.

Arabian Kevät Festival proudly presents: Modern Gypsy Caravan - Tomi Kettunen Trio. feat. Elina Virtanen

Tomi Kettunen Trio has its musical roots in european gypsy jazz, created by Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli in the 30s-50s. Trio is joined by talented jazz vocalist Elina Virtanen, whose warm and dark voice takes the audience to a musical journey to the era of Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday. Trio perfrorms Django Reihardt compositions and some classics from the swing era. The speciality of the concert is a couple amazing swing dancers, who create stunning Lindy Hop -steps to the music.
