In 2025, to celebrate its anniversary year, the Hämeenlinna Music Association (Hämeenlinnan soitannollinen kerho) organized a composition competition for young people. The standard of the competition was remarkably high, and the contest was tightly contested.

The winning trio of the competition—third-place finisher Carla Aakre, runner-up Nuutti Vartiainen and his band, and the competition winner, 19-year-old Eelis Elomaa and his band—will perform their own music. This concert will also feature the first-ever public performances of the competition's winning songs, the beautiful "Etsi minut", "Wind", and "Break Me".

Carla Aakre (Käyhty) and Nuutti Vartiainen originally hail from Hämeenlinna but have since relocated to the Helsinki metropolitan area for their music studies. Eelis Elomaa is currently studying in Helsinki to become a professional musician.
