Kadi Vija 3 is a new band from Helsinki, whose music includes wind instrument trio jazz from the 50s and 60s. Singer Kadi Vija acts as the so-called wind player in the band, who uses her voice instrumentally and wordlessly. Vija's compositions are short melodies, around which there is plenty of space to improvise and communicate, and this is heard in the band's music as freedom and joy.
