Sanni Orasmaa is a Finnish vocalist, composer, and educator whose music is rooted in improvisation, voice, and interdisciplinary expression. With a career spanning over three decades, she has performed internationally and taught jazz vocals in institutions such as the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, Tampere University, and the Brooklyn Conservatory. Recently, she has focused on developing her SoundByNature® platform, which combines music, education, and nature-based methods.

At the Kerava Jazz Festival, Orasmaa returns to her roots in a solo performance with a grand piano. This intimate setting reveals the core of her musical voice – the sensitivity and strength that have made her one of Finland's most distinctive jazz interpreters. The program evolves according to the atmosphere of the evening.
