Maxxxtet is a young quartet led by one of the rising stars of Finnish jazz, Max Zenger. According to a major Finnish newspaper, this young saxophonist "seems to be seeking his voice in the intersection of tender lyricism and potent moods". That Zenger has already won over many with his talent is evident from the fact that UMO Jazz Orchestra requested him to front them in a West Coast concert series.
This concert is one of their album launch shows to celebrate their second album, Chapter 2.
