Once in a year Bremen turns into an international meeting point for the international jazz scene. This year’s Jazzahead! Trade Fair is held from 19th to 22nd of April. The annual Jazz-Espa concert series and its sister events offer once again more than 20 top-notch jazz concerts this upcoming summer. This year, the beloved free shows of the Espa outdoor stage will be organised on 30 July – 4 August, with two concerts taking place every afternoon and one lunch concert at noon. This year will also see the novel Jazz-Espa opening and closing club nights, titled Summer Bay Jazz (Suvilahti Jazz) take over the restaurant ship Merikerho on 29 July and 5 August, respectively.
