HALME PROSPEKT
Halme Prospetk’s new album Bluespektor is sort of a sequel to Pajazzo album released in 2015; now then emerged narration has grown to epic proportions.
During their ten-year journey Halme Prospekt has emerged from platform to perform Hepa Halme’s compositions to self-piloting collective, where its members’ artistic influences and motives are directed to freely flowing improvised expression. On the new Bluespektor album the original compositions and covers form a whole, where the multi-instrumental musicians gracefully break the borders of genre.
Bluespektor features a special guest Pekko Käppi, who also joins the band at their Pori concert.

Composer-percussionist Edward Vesala Sound and Fury was one of the most praised jazz ensemble in Europe during 1986 to 1999. Ten years after Vesala’s death the original wind instrument section decided to gather for a ten-year memorial concert. The album Pulsacion, which features Iro Haarla’s arrangements of Vesala’s compositions, was born in 2013. For the first time the new Thundering of Dawn album consist of compositions by Haarla and Jorma Tapio besides the pieces composed by Vesala.
