Internationally distinguished bassist Michael Manring has been breaking down barriers with his bass playing over three decades. Manring’s innovative and individual style has strongly influenced many present bassists and guitarists both musically and technically.
Michael Manring has recorded music with musicians such as Alex Skolnick, Steve Morsen, Will Akcerman and Jeff Loomis. His own solo albums includes genres from jazz fusion to world music. Manring is especially known for playing fretless bass and he was one of the first bassist to use loopers and different kind of tuners in each string.
At Sellosali Michael Manring performs both as a solo artist and together with the Paidarion band. The programme is based on Michael’s and Paidarion’s compositions.
