Elena Mîndru Finnection feat. Adam Bałdych on Jazz Finland tour

Jazz singer Elena Mîndru will bring her band on a Jazz Finland tour in November, with Polish violin virtuoso Adam Bałdych (PL) as the visiting soloist. The tour, which will take place in different cities in Finland as well as in Tallinn, includes a total of seven concerts.

Turun kulttuuripääkaupunkivuonna alkunsa saanut konserttisarja Flame Jazz järjestää 30.10. 10-vuotisjuhlat! Juhlapäivän aikana jazzia kuullaan aamusta iltaan kymmenessä eri konsertissa Turun keskustan alueella. Mukana ovat kotimaisen jazzin kärkinimet, ja illan kruunaa newyorkilaislaulaja Samara Joy huippuyhtyeineen.


Adele Sauros Quartet to represent Finland at the Nordic Jazz Comets showcase

Copenhagen’s Jazzhus Montmartre hosts the next edition of Nordic Jazz Comets showcase on the 9th–10th of February, 2022. The event, that is known to connect the Nordic jazz professionals, takes place now for the 22nd time. The club and festival network selected five bands to perform at the showcase. The Finnish new jazz is brought to the Montmartre stage by Adele Sauros Quartet.



The 35th April Jazz held this week in Espoo

The 35th April Jazz will be held October 27-31 at the Espoo Cultural Center and the Espoo Museum of Modern Art EMMA. Last year, the event was completely streamed after the corona pandemic prevented hosting live events. The long wait will soon end when the festival audience finally can come to the concert halls to enjoy performances by domestic and international artists.




Tampere Jazz Happening will be organised in November already for the 40th time

The 40th international Tampere Jazz Happening will be organized at the Tullikamari’s Pakkahuone, Klubi, as well as restaurant Telakka venues between 4th and 7th November 2021. During four days, altogether 23 ensembles will perform at the festival, including the winner of this year’s Yrjö Award, who will be performing in conjunction with the award ceremony that takes place at the festival. This anniversary year’s festival program includes artists such as John Scofield & Dave Holland, Lakecia Benjamin, and Pepe Willberg & Jukka Eskola Statement.
