We Jazz Festival is held for the seventh time in Helsinki 1–8 December. The festival offers an inspiring setting of Finnish and international jazz, taking over Tampere and Tallinn, too. Eight days of jazz start at Ääniwalli, when Sami Linna Quartet begings the festival celebration of 2019 by offering a full blast of organ-lead swing-jazz. On the same evening Oddarang will perform its new album Hypermetros, with a rich sound rooted in jazz yet hinting to post-rock.
